The story behind MegaFit

A personal note from our founder, Brayn

Hi! It’s great to have you here and to see you taking a look at MegaFit.

My name is Brayn, and I’d love to tell you a little more about the story behind the platform. Sport and fitness have been a big part of my life from an early age. It all started at the gym, where I would often train with my father. He was the one who taught me the ins and outs of fitness. He showed me the importance of proper form, taught me how different muscle groups work, and made sure I understood just how essential a good warm-up is before starting a workout.

As I got older and wanted to take my own training to the next level, I experienced first-hand just how valuable the guidance of a personal trainer can be. That extra attention, knowledge and expertise can make a real difference.

The Journey from Idea to MegaFit

The first idea for MegaFit came to life during the COVID-19 pandemic. The world had temporarily come to a standstill, but sitting still wasn’t an option for me. I started thinking about how we could make it easier for people to connect with trainers, and how high-quality, personalised coaching could become more accessible. What started as a collection of ideas and brainstorming sessions has since grown into a professional platform. To build MegaFit into a strong and reliable platform, I joined forces with a team of experts. From IT and SEO specialists to marketing and legal professionals, a great deal of knowledge, care and dedication has gone into building the platform behind the scenes — so you can focus on finding the right trainer with confidence.

Everyone deserves the right guidance

Ultimately, my goal is simple: to get the Netherlands moving and keep it moving.

Whether you want to box, play football or tennis, become stronger, lose weight or simply feel better in your own skin, I believe that high-quality coaching shouldn’t be reserved for professional athletes.

Everyone has different goals, preferences and ways of staying active. That’s why I want to make it easier to find the trainer and guidance that truly fit you.

And that’s exactly what we’re working towards at MegaFit every single day.

Stay active,
Brayn

MegaFit – Find your fit. To get fit.

Everyone is different. So being fit looks different for everyone too.

Maybe you want to become stronger, have more energy, improve your performance or simply feel good. Whatever your goal may be, there is no single approach that works for everyone.

That’s why, at MegaFit, we don’t believe in one-size-fits-all. We believe that staying active becomes easier and more enjoyable when you find something that genuinely suits you: the right sport, the right trainer and the right guidance for who you are and what you want to achieve.

That’s your fit.

Our mission

MegaFit brings athletes, sports enthusiasts and trainers together, making it easier to find the right match.

By connecting people with trainers and approaches that suit their individual needs, we aim to lower the barriers to becoming more active. In doing so, we want to help more people get moving, achieve their goals and, most importantly, keep moving.

Our vision

We believe in a Netherlands where physical activity is a natural part of everyday life.

A Netherlands where everyone has the opportunity to live a healthy, active and fit life in a way that works for them. MegaFit aims to become a recognisable and trusted platform where people can find their fit and trainers can connect with those who truly benefit from their expertise and approach.

Working together towards a healthier Netherlands

MegaFit is the online platform where sports enthusiasts and trainers come together. We make it easier to find a trainer and an approach that suit you, because the right match can make all the difference – not only when it comes to getting started, but especially when it comes to staying motivated and making physical activity a lasting part of your life.

That’s why we say: Find your fit. To get fit.

Find what works for you. Your way, your goals, your pace.

Our ambition goes beyond simply connecting people with trainers. We want to contribute to a healthier and fitter Netherlands by making sport and physical activity more accessible, personal and motivating. Not by telling everyone how they should exercise, but by helping people discover what works for them. So that staying active doesn’t become a temporary phase, but something you can make part of your life.
